The 1600P is designed to vent vertically and requires a 5" type-b double wall vent. It can be vented horizontally with the addition of the AQ4 power vent kit.

Note: the 1600P is the same as 1600H except 1600H features a hydro-generated ignition and 1600P features a pilot ignition.
