Engel Hinge Lock For Models: MT45F-U1 & MT35F-U1

The Engel 35/45 Hinge Lock secures your Engel MT45F-U1 & MT35F-U1's lid against lateral movement. The lids on Engel MT45F-U1 & MT35F-U1 Freezer Fridges sometimes slide sideways and completely off the hinges. The hinge lock prevents this from happening by restricting the lateral movement of the lid. The hinge lock is easily installed and still permits easy removal of the Engel MT45F-U1 & MT35F-U1's lid when desired.

Don't waste your money on other coolers! This cooler just works wonders. Without even getting the temperature control to full cold, we had water freezing in the cooler! It takes about 4-5 hours to fully cool from room temperature (~70) but once it's cold, even unpowered it'll stay cold for several hours, even over night. This wasn't in the full heat of summer and it was inside a vehicle. Getting the hinge lock is a vital purchase! November 8, 2010

This is a MUST if you have the 35 or 45 This is a MUST if you own the cooler it is designed for. After opening and closing the lid tends to "walk" and not seat properly or falls off. This item eliminates the lid comming off, yet allows removal at your option. January 30, 2008
