The Engel 35/45 Hinge Lock secures your Engel MT45F-U1 & MT35F-U1's lid against lateral movement. The lids on Engel MT45F-U1 & MT35F-U1 Freezer Fridges sometimes slide sideways and completely off the hinges. The hinge lock prevents this from happening by restricting the lateral movement of the lid. The hinge lock is easily installed and still permits easy removal of the Engel MT45F-U1 & MT35F-U1's lid when desired.
