Main parts of the VariTilt Slicer 632 are constructed of rugged cast aluminum and shining stainless steel, and rubber feet hold the slicer firmly to the work surface for stability.

This particular unit does allow for the slicing of multiple types of food.

The 632W Chef's Choice VariTilt provides excellent versatility for slicing a wide variety of foods including meats, cheeses, vegetables, fruits and breads. The food carriage retracts fully so you can also slice extra large roasts and other meats with ease.

However, for any other types of meat slicers, you should always check with the product description on what types of foods it is able to slice.
