Assembles just like Metro wire shelving I knew the place where I wanted to put my washer/dryer was just a little too short, but I noticed in the photo what looked like extra lines/notches on the posts that would let me adjust the dryer shelf downward. I have Metro wire shelves, which are adjustable in the same way, so I took the risk and placed the order. I was right. :-) So by putting the dryer shelf one "notch" lower, everything fits with sufficient clearance above the dryer. Note that this only works because the Avanti washer has a bi-fold lid. With the dryer shelf lower, if the washer lid did not fold in half, I wouldn't be able to open the washer lid completely. But as it turns out, this was the perfect solution for me. July 26, 2011
