    Avanti Front Load Dryer 4.4 5 15 18
Good little dryer. Using it in a motor home, replacing another brand no longer available. Happy with the performance December 12, 2011
happy purchase It is a well built dryer. Haven't used it much yet but am satisfied with the results so far. Came well packed and the delivery service was great. June 20, 2011
Could not be happier This is the best 120 volt dryer I have ever used, great fit for and RV. June 20, 2011
exactly what I needed I didn't have space for a full-size dryer, but I hang my laundry outside or on a drying rack over an inside heating vent, so I just wanted something that would sort of finish the job -- get the stiffness out of the clothes, dry any remaining moisture in seams or pockets, and collect the lint. This little baby is PERFECT for that! I pulled it out of the box, plugged it in, and that was the entire installation process. Heats up really well. The cycle selection is pretty basic, just a dial that goes from hot to warm to air only, but that suits me OK. The only complaints I have are with the Avanti company. The packing was a joke (I was lucky it arrived unbroken) and the manual is outdated and bears little resemblance to the current model. I ordered from Compact Appliances, which is part of Living Direct. When I called to ask questions they were polite and efficient but basically just said "call Avanti, not our problem." When I called Avanti, I was on hold FOREVER and then spoke with a customer service rep who had zero idea what I was asking. The description says the dryer comes with a mounting bracket, the manual gives directions for a mounting bracket, but there was no mounting bracket in the box with the other parts. When I tried to explain this she got very confused, and in the end she shipped me an entire kit of parts (that I already had) but no mounting bracket. I called and spoke with a different girl, and she actually went out in the warehouse and looked at one of the dryers and spoke to a service guy, and she explained that there is no longer a mounting bracket, just two heavy duty L-bracets that you screw to the wall and hook into the back of the dryer. (I had those -- two sets!) She said the model had been upgraded in several ways but the manual doesn't reflect that. Sorry, but it seems to me that's a pretty basic requirement -- that the manual matches the actual appliance. So good marks for the dryer itself, but be aware that you're on your own after that. And I have to say -- as polite as the Living Direct guy was, I was irked that he didn't seem to care about the shipping. That, too, was apparently not their problem but Avanti's. I would think they'd want to know in order to avoid a lot of damaged goods being returned. June 8, 2011

No, That is a great thing about this product. It does heat up the room somewhat, but you would not be running it all day long normally. I put mine in the bedroom and just close the door.

It does not need to be vented, however, it does exhaust hot air. What some customers have done is used it in a bathroom, and just closed the door and turned the vent on while it was running. Others have placed it near a window and let it exhaust that way.

    A:
No, since this unit is a small dryer only, it uses an exhaust pipe that disperses heat into the surrounding air.

I have attached an image with illustration of the exhaust pipe for more details.

This dryer should be plugged into a standard 115/120V, 50Hz electrical outlet that allows for three prongs. Thanks for your question!

    A:
It does not come with wheels, however, this unit only weighs 45 pounds, so you can store it in one place, and bring it out whenever you need it. Moving it will not cause harm to it. The Avanti W757 is a good washer to go along with this, however, you can use other portable washers as well. The stacking kit allows you to have the washer and dryer in a set place and is made to go with those two pieces.
