    Avanti Convection - Rotisserie Oven - Stainless Steel 3.8 5 6 6
Great little extra oven I had a smaller oven before and used it for a lot of things. This oven is larger and can bake lots of things. I am able to get 3 loaves of bread in. I also bake rolls and am very pleased with the results. It has adjustable dials that can work to your advantage depending on how you want the finished product to look like. It does hold a 9 X 13 pan easily and I am trying out other pans for size. The only caution I would advise is to make sure you watch the timer as when it goes off and your product is not done completely, you can reset it quickly. I set the timer ahead about 10-15 minutes more to preheat the oven. I use an oven thermometer to check temps. When it reaches the right temp I put the pan in and make sure the timer is set for the right amount. I am pleased with its overall performance. October 22, 2010
Avanti Convection Oven I use this as my primary oven. It is large enough for almost everything I cook in an oven with the exception of a large roasting pan. December 31, 2009
Inexpensive Tabletop Convection Oven Easy to operate although the instructions are a bit sketchy. No sample recipes or foods given. Would I recommend anyone else to buy it? Sure, for the price, it can't be beat. And if you're a cook like me, using a convection oven now means that you can ruin a meal three times faster! February 14, 2011
Happy! I live in a rental house, and my landlord is supposed to provide appliances according to our lease. We have had 2 different ranges since we moved in in September, and the oven didn't work on either of them. The 2nd range he brought in came straight from someone's storage barn and was filthy and disgusting and infested with mice. Nice situation, huh? Basically I got tired of dealing with him since he refuses to purchase a clean, working appliance. You don't realize how limited you are in your cooking options are until you don't have an oven. I am a serious cheapskate and comparison shop like no other! I spent two days researching my options on the internet and finally found this convection oven. It fits my needs perfectly. I chose this model because of it's large capacity. I can fit a 9 x 13 inch casserole dish inside with no problem. I also like the rotisserie as this gives me a totally new cooking option that I haven't previously had before. I got it yesterday and made a pan of lasagne last night. It turned out perfectly, and using the convection option, it cooked thoroughly in under 30 minutes. I checked the temperature with an oven thermometer and didn't have any problem with it heating to the correct temp. A couple of cautions....the outside gets very hot, especially the glass door, so be careful not to touch it while the oven is in use. Also, it's kind of difficult to pull the rack out. There is a gap in the middle of the guide rails that hold the rack, so if you pull the rack out halfway, it will tip forward and your dish could possibly fall out on the floor or spill hot liquid. Be very very careful! I can totally imagine someone suffering serious burns from this. Keep kids away!!! Also, it's huge, so make sure you have enough dedicated space to place it in if you decide to buy it. I had to put mine on my kitchen cart/island because my counter top wasn't quite deep enough to give it clearance around the back of the unit for proper air flow. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase. I actually got an "open-box" model that cost me less than half the price that I had seen this unit going for on other websites, and received it in 3 days. Not to mention I bought it during a free shipping promo, so no telling how much money that saved me! It was brand new and apparently returned unused. I hope this info helps someone. I gotta go cook now! January 21, 2011

    A:
Yes, it's big enough to roast a chicken. If you use the rotisserie, make sure you tie up the chicken so the wings and legs don't flop around and hit the back of the unit. The inside is large enough to accommodate a 9x13 casserole dish. I have uploaded pics to give you an idea of the interior capacity. One is with the 9x13 pan, and the other is a 5 qt stock pot pushed all the way to the back of the unit. Hope this helps!

    A:
You can roast a chicken either whole or in pieces. Just make sure the internal temperature measures done and the juices run clear. You may have to roast it longer by resetting the timer after 60 minutes. It will depend on what size bird you have.

The inside of the oven measuring from the bottom rack to the top burner is 8 inches. Front to back is 12 inches and side to side is 16 1/4 inches.
