This part (model AC3INN, sold separately) keeps the Amperage of the combination microwave refrigerator under 10 Amps at all times, allowing the combo to be run on a 10 Amp circuit (Many dorm rooms and older buildings have 10 Amp circuits). It also allows the MICREFSS to be run on only one plug. An included bracket gives you the opportunity to fasten the two units together, enhancing stability.
