Best unit for type of situation The unit was small enough to go into a small wine room and be somewhat out of the way. The unit was not as quiet as expected but not to bad... because it doesnt cycle on very often. Seems to be a good quality product for the money. Time will tell if it solves my customer problems with keeping a basement wine room a little more consistant in temperure and humidity. March 6, 2013
Nice unit, poor packaging My unit was dented in one corner, not worth the effort to return it, but I wish they would have packed it better. Installation instruction are pretty good, but they should provide dimensional data or a template for the location of the condensate drain. I have installed the unit and it seems to be doing fine. It cycles a lot, seems like it should have a bit larger deadband in the temperature control. This unit replaced a smaller WineMate which struggled in the dead of summer but otherwise worked OK for about 10 years, but eventually developed a bad fan motor bearing. July 10, 2014
