LivingDirect.com uses several different ship methods that will be described below. On each product page of our web site you can locate the shipping method for that particular products as well as details on that ship method by viewing the "Shipping and Delivery Information" box directly underneath the product description.
Please note that you will receive an email with a tracking number after your order has shipped. To track an order, either log into Your Account or Contact Us.
Shipping Methods are as follows:
- UPS/Federal Express
This ship method uses either UPS or Federal Express Standard Ground Ship Method.
Delivery time with this ship method is usually between 3 and 5 business days
once the product ships. We can usually arrange for expedited Next Day, Second Day,
or Three Day shipping for products with this ship method - just give us a call or
select expedited shipping, if offered, when you are checking out. You will know what the expedited shipping cost will be before the order is processed.
- Premium Freight Line
This is a Premium "White Glove" shipping service that we use for some of
our Freight Line Deliveries. This service includes door to door service,
including inside delivery. Someone from the trucking company will call before delivery to schedule a timeframe
convenient for you Monday through Friday. You can also contact the trucking
company to set up a delivery time once you receive your Tracking-Number Email. Please note that delivery drivers will not transport the product upstairs unless an elevator is present. If no elevator is present, then there will be a $15 surcharge per floor for the delivery driver to carry the unit upstairs.
- Freight Line
This is a Standard Freight-Line delivery with door-to-door service, which means the delivery
is guaranteed to come to the door of your building, provided there are no stairs to ascend or descend.
If you need assistance getting the product into your house, there will be an additional $45 Inside Delivery Fee. Please be sure to let us know if you require this service at the time you place the order. Once we have confirmation that this unit has shipped, we will forward the tracking information so you can schedule a delivery time.
LivingDirect.com calculates shipping based on current UPS / freight line
tables, which involve the weight and dimensions of the shipment and the final delivery destination. These fees
will be fair and as inexpensive as we can make them. If you have any questions
regarding your shipping charges, please contact Customer Service at 888.645.3402.
We take as many steps as possible to ensure that the product you receive is in
perfect working condition. However, occasionally, a product may be damaged in
transit. If you receive a damaged product delivered by Federal Express or UPS,
please give us a call immediately. For Pilot Air Freight, Freight Line, and
Alliance Air Freight deliveries, we ask that you inspect the product upon
arrival. If the unit is damaged, we ask that you refuse the shipment or notate
the damage on the packing slip and give us a call immediately.
If you do sign for a product with concealed damage, we will replace the unit
with one in perfect working condition as long as you notify us 48 hours* after
receipt of the product (excluding holidays and weekends).
However, we can get a new unit to you
faster if you notice the damage on arrival and refuse the shipment.
*Please note that this policy applies to all products except Kwikool brand commercial portable air conditioners. Kwikool brand commercial portable air conditioners must be thoroughly inspected upon delivery and all freight damage must be notated on the delivery slip.
At this time, LivingDirect.Com only ships to the Contiguous United States. We do not ship to P.O. boxes, APO's or FPO's under any circumstances.
