This Carbon Filter (65FC0312) is specifically designed for the AllerAir I-6500 AH 80 air purifier. As the second stage of the filtration system, this filter removes harmful chemicals, gases and odors from the air. AllerAir recommends that carbon filters be changed once every two to three years.

Air purifiers from AllerAir are constructed of a triple layer filtration system, Pre-Filter, Carbon Filter and HEPA filter. The carbon filter traps chemicals, gases and odors while the HEPA filter, with the highest proven filtration efficiency possible, traps 99.97% of all airborne particles (as small as 0.3 microns).
