We have a low water pressure problem and were wondering if that would effect the efficiency of the counter top dishwasher?

    A:
I have low water pressure, especially after changing the washer on the tap to fit dishwashers. I use my sprayer to fill the kettle. This works fine, all I do is turn on the hotwater tap and that's it.
Hope this is helpful. I have it on a counter with the back facing my sink as it's easier to hook up.

    A:
For best operating results, incoming water pressure should be between 15 and 20 pounds per square inch (psi).

There's a pump that will help with low water pressure. The water is pumped through
a rotating spray arm, drained through a filter (removing food and soiled particles) and pumped back through the spray arm. Soiled water is pumped out and replaced with clean water at the end of each cycle, (the number
of times depends on the wash program being used). For best cleaning results, the water temperature must be at least 55ºC (130ºF). To prevent damage to the dishwasher, the temperature of the incoming water supply should not exceed 65ºC (149ºF).

My house is seventy years old and so is my kitchen faucet. I've tried adapters that went to my water filter and NONE of them worked. Will this adapter really fit ANY faucet? What does it look like? Will it fit my faucet?

My house was built in 1952 and I was able to simply screw in the adapter and hook it up, no problems.

Thank you for contacting the Living Direct Network. I would say that the faucet adapter would be the same diameter of those water filters that attach to your faucet. I really dont think it would attach right out of the box. I would recommend that you find an adapter from your hardware store that can then attach to the faucet adapter.

You can hard connect it to a water source, however, in doing so, you will void the warranty as that is not the intent of the product.

I'm wondering how long it takes to get the dishes really clean, and how long each of the different cycles takes.

There are 5 different cycles. They are:

    Intensive Wash - 125 minutes (2 hours, 5 minutes)
    Normal Wash - 130 minutes (2 hours, 10 minutes)
    Rapid Wash - 70 minutes (1 hour , 10 minutes)
    Economy Wash - 120 minutes (2 hours)
    Pre-Wash - 12 minutes

The Intensive Wash will give you the best results, as it washes and rinses in the hottest water (129 degrees Fahrenheit wash and 152 degrees Fahrenheit rinse). That said, all of the cycles should be able to get your dishes clean.
