Thrilled! After having immediate difficulties with a dehumidifier I purchased locally - I headed to the internet to do research- I found that EdgeStar Dehumidifiers and Living Direct consistently receive great reviews -so I ordered a 65 pint Edge Star Dehumidifier. It was shipped the same day! Upon arrival- I unboxed the unit and positioned it in the basement- Following directions- I waited 24 hours before starting it. It was simple to get started - and it automatically restarts each time the water bucket is emptied and put back into place. The unit removes a great amount of water so I set up the hose option (a simple process) - The unit now drains into a utility sink. My EdgeStar Dehumidifier is working extremely well- As I prepare my home for sale- I am thrilled with my dry, odor free basement! July 18, 2011

good tor what i needed it for I really like this unit,it has done what i hoped it would do.We have a lot of wetness in the basement because the house we live in sits on a rock ledge.The unit has been dryin up the house since i got it and does a great job.the only problem with it is that it is loud,but we have it in the dinning room so its not to bad,all around a good product and very easy to use,would recommend.
