EnergyStar Rated

Wash up to six standard place settings (10.5" max diameter) with the convenience of operating right on your countertop. At just over 17" tall, the EdgeStar Portable Countertop 6 Place Setting Dishwasher (DWP60ES) has a low profile that fits comfortably under most cabinetry without permanent installation required. Energy Star certified, the dishwasher consumes only 200 kWh/Year, approximately 61% less energy than similar countertop dishwashers. In addition to saving energy, this model wastes very little water, which can save you a lot of money on your water and energy bills.

Extremely easy to operate, the EdgeStar countertop portable dishwasher features full digital controls with delayed start option, allowing you to take control of your dishwashing when you want to. The stainless steel interior makes the dishwasher look good no matter where it is, while the powerful spray arm ensures a deep and thorough wash of all your dishes, including the silverware in its own basket. The built-in rinse agent dispenser helps to minimize water spotting on dishes, while the internal water heater and heavy wash cycle eliminates germs and bacteria by boosting the water temperature up to 149 degrees F. With a quick connect faucet adapter and five foot hose to make hookup to almost any faucet simple, this dishwashing machine will be up to the job to clean those dirty dishes.

  • High Heat Wash:

The unit's internal water heater boosts the water temperature to up to 149°F in the stainless steel interior on heavy wash cycle

  • Six Wash Cycles:

Six wash cycles allow you to wash your dishes quickly or thoroughly, either by quickly rinsing dishes or washing heavy duty loads

  • Full Digital Controls:

The digital controls are easy to use and look great, are located directly on the front of the unit, and conveniently allow you to operate the 'delayed start' feature

    EdgeStar Portable Countertop 6 Place Setting Dishwasher 4.6 5 52 61
Solid. Wouldn't reccomend with pull out faucet. Product works well for a counter top dishwasher. Biggest issue I had was we needed to replace the faucet as the existing faucet was not compatible with the quick connect, which was no biggie. I did have an issue after using it for about 2 weeks with the new faucet (pull out handle style) and the pressure ended up breaking a plastic part on the inside of the handle. I would suggest hooking up to a non pull out handle style faucet and if you need a pull out sprayer, get the faucet with it off to the side and not on the main section. Might have been that the faucet I purchase was cheap, ($90) but I have a feeling most pull out handles like that are not designed to have built up pressure like that with the quick connect and water turned on. Otherwise cleans well, no leaks, as quiet as most regular dishwasher (especially considering it's open on 3 sides that would normally be covered by cabinets on a standard washer) and easy to use. Also, if you have a small kitchen this might take up more counter space than you are imagining. For my set up it was fine because there's plenty of counter space. November 11, 2011
dose good I,m a single male living alone, used to always have a sink of dishes, now I just put the dishes in the dish washer and run it every other day, works great and no mess and I use alot less water. I am sorry I waited so long to get one. November 10, 2011
Awesome for a Small Family One of the best purchases ever. Easy to use, quiet, has a delay timer that I haven't ever used, but who knows maybe I will at some point. Makes my life so much easier that I really have no idea why I haven't 'splurged' on myself. Splurging seems odd to say because the little but big dishwasher really has a tiny price compared to the amount of time vs. cleaning power this product has brought me. Great product. Like the fact that I can fit 6 place settings vs. four in other higher priced models. November 2, 2011
I Love it! This dishwasher is great! I am single and work 12 hour shifts and do not like doing dishes. I rinse my dishes since they will be sit in the washer for a few days before washing put my soap in set to regular wash and everything turns out great! October 8, 2011

the hoses are about 4 ft. long. It's one piece connected together at the faucet end; separated on the back of the dishwasher where you screw it on two openings. Installation is easy; it has a quick release that attaches to the faucet that you snap on when you want to wash and snap off when it's finished. Yes, you could sit it on a trolley, but remember it weighs about 50 pounds, so be sure it's very sturdy.

The inlet and drain hoses are 4 feet long. You can certainly place this on a rolling trolley to operate it, you just want to make sure the drain hose is not going up more than 10 inches.

    A:
Leave the water on until it completes its cycle. You can then turn the water off, or you can leave it on. If you leave it on, it will not use any water until ou run the washer again.

I hook up the hose and then turn on the water, then I turn on the machine. However there have been times I've hooked up the hose, turned on the machine, and forgot to turn on the water. If after a few minutes the machine is not getting any water, it will start to beep rather annoyingly letting you know of the problem.

You turn the water on when you start the machine, and leave it on until the entire cycle finishes. The unit will regulate how much water it needs and uses. Depending on the cycle, the unit uses about 3 gallons of water.

any standard faucet will work. Pull outs will work as well (as long as they have the threaded spray nozle in the end). There is a threaded nipple in the end of your standard series that will be replaced by the supplied quick disconnect system for water supply/pressurised drain from the dishwasher. Manufacture recommends perminant removal of any spray wand hosing as it may rupture. READ THE MANUAL

This will hook to a standard kitchen or bathroom faucet, provided that the bottom of the faucet where the water comes out has a screen that will screw off.
