Danby 38 Bottle Dual Zone Freestanding Wine Cooler - Black and Stainless Steel

The Danby 38 Bottle Dual Zone Freestanding Wine Cooler (DWC113BLSDB) is a mid-size wine cooler capable of holding over 3 cases of wine across different temperatures at one time. Measuring just over a foot and a half wide, this unit manages to cram in considerable storage capacity while retaining a space-efficient form factor. As a freestanding unit, the cabinet is fully finished in black and the back of the cabinet is completely flat, allowing you to place the cooler flush against walls to save space. The door comes with a classy stainless steel trim with a matching long bar-style handle, and the door is also reversible, providing increased placement options.

For stylish and organized storage, the upper zone features two (2) beechwood shelves, while the lower zone has four (4) shelves of the same finish. Each zone also has its own digital adjustable thermostat with a wide temperature range between 39.2° and 64.4° F to accommodate the needs of both red and white wines. The blue LED interior lighting helps showcase your collection without contributing any detrimental heat, and the cooling system employs frost-free operation, so there's no need to ever worry about defrosting your valuable wines.

    • Dual Temperature Zones:

Separately-controlled temperature zones allow you to simultaneously store your favorite red and white wines

    • Frost-Free Operation:

This model doesn't require the use of a defrost system, automatic or manual, as it prevents any frost from forming in the first place

    • Fully Finished Cabinet:

The sleek black cabinet is completely wrapped with a flat back design, allowing you to set it flush against walls as a freestanding unit

Very Satisfied so far So far the cooler has performed to expectation. Received the product sooner than expected. I had a little problem trying to fit 34 bottles. Shelves had to be taken out and bottles rearrange. Otherwise happy!!! March 17, 2013
Did not realize the white wine area was on the top (small area) and the red wine area was the larger area on the bottom and they are not interchangable due to temperature selection. would like to be able to have more white wine as this is our favorite but the top keeps enough for us cold we just have to restock more frequentley January 29, 2013
38 bottle capacity is difficult to do since all 750 ml bottles are not the same width. Some bottles are much wider & wont fit on racks. Dont know any solution. Dont care for bottles facing two directions. Did not know this when I ordered. Suggest lowering capacity in your brochures. December 20, 2012
