WORKS perfectly. Location is less than 1,000 feet from Pacific Ocean with relative high humidity. Works perfectly to reduce whole house, 1550 sq. ft. humidity level to preset humidity level. October 6, 2014
So far so good. I am very happy with the present dehumidifier. My first one was defective (When the compressor came on it made a horrendous noise.) and had to be returned. That worked out very well except for a little time to repackage and send the original back. It didn't cost me any money and the new one was promptly delivered. The new dehumidifier has been working very well. At this point after a couple of weeks of use I would recommend this product to friends although it is always best to see how it is working after a couple of years. Time will tell. September 27, 2014
From A Wet Basement to a Dry Basement It works. It took a wet basement to a dry basement in two weeks, from smelling of mildew to smelling of bone dry granite walls (circa 1906 house). Much more quite than old Westinghouse it replaced, much more efficient - doesn't run all the time. Programmable feature is a wonderful addition - set desired humidity level and it's done. Hose feature to put condensate down a floor drain makes the unit no maintenance, no muss. Ease of use - not entirely intuitive, but a snap if you read the directions. Not silent, but reasonable sound level. September 8, 2014
Does the Job Installation is for a damp cellar. Product arrived on time, it was packed well, easy to understand instructions, and easy to hook up the continuous drain hose. One feature that "sealed the deal" is the auto restart after a power failure. Noise is not really an issue since the unit is in the cellar. Have no experience yet with energy efficiency or the multiple features. Seems to be well made and I expect to use it for years. August 14, 2014
