so far so good Humidify home Easy to use a little noisy - too noisy on high December 11, 2008
The Whole House Humidifier I think if I manufactured this product, I would be forced to change the name.... It will not increase humidity in the whole house ! I monitor the humidity in the main room that the humidifier is in, and it does reach the level set, cycles itself on and off and works great !! If I want the humidity increased in the bedroom, the "whole house humidifier" has to be moved to that room ! It's a great entire room humidifier.....but not truly a whole house humidifier ! Awkward to clean I purchased this unit for my elderly mother as a whole house humidifier. It is easy to assemble from the box, but cheaply made of plastic. Filling with water is easy. There is a warning not to overfill, however there are no minimum/maximum fill lines or indicators. Controls are easy to use. Temperature and humidity indicators are accurate when compared to an independent hand held monitor. Noise level is fairly quiet for a living space, but would be loud for a bedroom. Cleaning is recommended every 2 weeks as is the case for most humidifiers. Emptying water from the bulky unit for cleaning is awkward and may be a challenge for some older adults. December 7, 2010
