The Crane Drop Shape Cool Mist Humidifier (Models: EE-5301B, EE-5301G, EE-5301P, EE-5301W, EE-5301O) helps to provide additional comfort for cold symptoms, dry itchy skin, and chapped lips. The whisper quiet humidifier won't disturb sleep and operates on a low power consumption providing a minimum of 11 hours of moisture from a removable 0.9 gallon water tank. It includes an automatic shut off safety feature when water tank is empty. This Crane Humidifier also features a water level indicator (no need to open the unit up to monitor water levels) and variable speeds which can be used to limit or increase the amount of moisture forced into the air.

great product for the price!
I have been using this humidifier for about 2 weeks. and I love it. It has made a big difference in my breathing at night and doesn't take up much room because its small and stylish (unlike other humidifiers). I only run it at night and refil the tank every other night. would definitely recommend, great humidifier for the price!

Decent humidifier for the price.
I purchased this humidifier because my previous one from Vicks after two years broke down.
There was this goo at the bottom of the water tank, and clogged the opening where the humidifier is supposed to pour out mist.
This humidifier doesn't have the problem, although I find the water tank unergonomically constructed for refills.
But overall, good product for the money,

second chances
This unit is extremely quiet! Well into the 4th day when it started buzzing loudly! I gave a good rating because the Crane mfg said the fan went out and are sending me a replacement, and during the order process Compact Appliance kept good contact, and so far I have had good responses from both the manufacturer and the dealer. I will give the actual product another chance!

Great little humidifier!
It is hard to tell how much it has raised the humidity in my bedroom because I don't have a humidistat to measure the humidity. I live in Arizona, so the moisture is absorbed by the air pretty quickly.
It does produce a nice amount of cool steam, which is adjustable. It is VERY quiet so is suitable for bedroom use.
I'm happy with my purchase!

I asked you a question yesterday re: the white dust all over my living room & found out it's caused by the minerals in the water. I did my research and I purchased a filter. Can I use Holmes "bacteriostat" (prevents bacteria growth ) in the humidifier ? My only concern is that it might clog the filter. My Mom uses it every time she fills her small humidifier (another brand ) without any consequences. I also would like to know what the condensate drain pan tablets are for, Please advise. ( If I knew that I would have to buy all these accessories, I think I would have opted otherwise.)Thank you for your assistance.

can you add essential oils to this product when you add water? Or is this not recommended?

Thank you for your question. It is not recommended for you to add any oils to this or most humidifiers. The oil will have the tendency to eventually cause build up in the humidifier.1 of 1
