Eccotemp Outdoor Tankless Water Heater - Liquid Propane
The Eccotemp Outdoor Tankless Water Heater (40H-LP) is designed to supply hot water to a standard sized home without the complex installation and venting requirements needed with indoor models. In addition, the 40H-LP is powered by liquid propane, which is generally more efficient and requires a lower operating cost than similar electric units.
Rated at an already impressive 6.3 GPM, this unit is also split system adaptable which can further increase efficiency and hot water delivery speed. With built-in pressure relief, filter system and a 10 year warranty, this tankless hot water heater is the ideal choice for the standard three bedroom, two bathroom home.

Clean, clear water between 32 - 120 degrees Fahrenheit
Relief valve not to exceed 150 psi on hot water supply outlet
Cold water supply shut-off valveGas Requirements:

we have two fireplaces goinginto our new home and was considering tankless water heater but I never heard propane called liquid is this diffrent then what we will be using for the fireplaces.

When you buy propane, it is most likely always in the liquid form. This is due to its characteristics. Essentially, your fireplace would use the same type of liquid propane -- however, it is also probably packaged differently and cannot be used universally because of this. A few years back I installed two AquaStar tankless propane water heaters, one in my mountain cabin and the other in an outbuilding at home. The cabin unit was feeding a only a kitchen sink. The unit worked fine with only hot water turned on. When I turned on both hot water and cold water the Tankless water heater shutoff. I think the issue was caused or related to the back pressure from the water fauset aerator. The unit at home worked just fine. The home water pressure is ~60 psi and the mountain cabin water pressure is about 25 psi. What is the minimum water pressure requirement on this unit.Regards, John

You will not be able to add solar because of the way this unit is designed. As for the propane tank, you should be able to use it along with the stove. However, to ensure you have enough pressure, you may want to regulate usage. Meaning, when you are taking a shower, try not to use the stove.1 of 1
