The EdgeStar Deluxe Portable Stainless Steel Ice Maker with LCD Display (IP310SSOB) offers a high tech and stunning design in an extremely space-efficient package. This model from EdgeStar is one of the few compact ice makers on the market that features a touchscreen control interface. The extremely easy-to-use controls are integrated into the blue backlit LCD display, which features high contrast lighting, making it easy to read no matter where you use it. The screen has a clock as well as status indicators that keep you informed when the ice maker is full, in need of additional water, or in the process of making ice.
For those extra hot days, this unit is capable of making up to a total of 22 pounds of ice per day. The pull-out style ice basket can hold up to 2 pounds of ice at a time, and can be removed completely for easy cleaning. And unlike other units, you don't have to constantly deal with draining the machine since it reuses any ice that has melted to create new ice. The smooth-flowing lines of this ice maker flawlessly combine with the stainless steel and black build to provide a quality look that will complement any kitchen or bar space and its exceptionally small size allows you to leave it out on your countertop, ready for use whenever.
Note: While this machine is well-insulated, it is not a freezer.
