Like all Fagor induction cooktops, it features a 7-point safety system: An overflow safety stops the cooktop when food is spilled over the touch controls, and the anti-overheating feature prevents oil and other elements from catching fire. Cookware detection switches off the cooktop if no cookware is placed on it within one minute, and the surface isn't activated by pans less than five inches in diameter, so it won't heat up smaller utensils. Self-adjusting burners modulate energy output to match the size of the pan. The cooktop notifies you of an improper electrical connection or low voltage and a safety system protects it from over-voltage.

The Fagor 36" Induction Cooktop has five cooking zones and twelve cook settings plus three quick launch settings (6: Medium, 10: High, 12: Maximum). It includes illuminated touch controls and an extremely durable and easy-to-clean EUROKERA glass surface. The stylish stainless steel trim matches your Fagor convection oven and makes a nice complement to any contemporary kitchen. The space saving casing is the narrowest available on the market to maximize storage space or allow mounting of an oven under the unit.
