Haier 1.8 Cu. Ft. Ventless Front Load Combo Washer Dryer - White

The Haier 1.8 Cu. Ft. Ventless Front Load Combo Washer Dryer (HWD1600BW) saves on space without skimping on features. With a 1.8 cubic foot capacity, this washer/dryer combo allows you to clean an entire load of laundry with ease, and the six (6) wash cycles ensure that you can clean any type of fabric, no matter how tough or soft it is. The internal stainless steel drum encloses your clothes in the machine, making sure it gets washed and dried thoroughly for a more efficient cleaning experience. Four (4) wash and rinse temperatures allow you to decide how your clothes get washed, so you can custom clean each load to give it the specialized attention it deserves. Perfect for any household, this combo washer/dryer will do all of the work and only take up half the space of traditional washer and dryer units.

  • Electronic Controls:

The LCD display on the front of the washer/dryer makes operating this unit much easier than most other units on the market

  • Supports Large Loads:

With a 1.8 cubic foot capacity, the 13 lb wash capacity and a 6.6 lb drying capacity, this laundry machine washes and drys heavy loads for better efficiency

  • Built-In Dispenser:

The built-in dispenser ensures that the fabric softener and detergent will be dispensed at the correct time - so you won't have to!

  • Humidity Sensor:

This washer features a humidity sensor that reads the progress of the load, so it will know when it is time to stop the drying cycle saving you money on energy costs and extending the life of your clothes by not over drying

  • Cycles:

Choose from: cotton, synthetic, wool, silk, quick, and sport to select the wash and dry cycle that is right for your clothes

Poor quality and service The product has never worked and I still have not received service to repair the washer/dryer after more than two weeks. September 1, 2014
Nice, but has a learning curve I am single with health issues, and decided to downsize when taking laundry up & downstairs became too dangerous. I heard about the ventless combos from my sister who saw it at a friends house. Mine was installed in my kitchen by a professional who didn't find any issues. My search brought me here where I read every review many times. Some of which weren't glowing. But I'm really glad I heeded the reviews that mentioned the learning curve, and my own fear of stair steps & full hands. At first wet laundry happened to me too (learning curve). I cannot use the MAX spin cycle because it is just too crazy, so I use the HIGH spin cycle instead, and-while loud-only lasts a few minutes and is very efficient. The mfg. detergent preferences are odd, but do-able. This model must use powder detergent, but liquid softener. I suggest to call and ask, because my manual's wording is unclear. My laundry is cleaner than ever, but you should own an iron. Stuff gets really wrinkled, I think because you don't take it out, straighten it out, and put it in another machine. Okay trade off as irons don't scare me yet. So far I have washed the usual things, but also a bathroom rug, and it all comes out clean & dry. I have yet to wash bedding. I will take my big blankets to the laundromat. I just keep a bin in my trunk to take them in. And I love nice blankets, so I'm collecting more. REMEMBER: DO NOT OVER FILL-With the big round knob, try the synthetic setting (my go to) then choose the dry cycle you want with the oval DRY button, and choose the spin cycle with the big round knob again and the little round buttons. Keep experimenting and be patient with yourself as well as the machine. You may need to re-dry thick, bulky items. This ventless combo is a good thing indeed! I'm very happy with it. August 20, 2014
Perfect for our vacation home Our vacation home did not have a washer/dryer connection. It was a duplex and had an extra kitchenette. The kitchenette had a sink, two stove top burners, and a small fridge. We had the plumbing available, but the plumber had to do quite a bit to create the proper connections. It fits in the space and is awesome! When we take a few weeks off to be here, we don't have to pack for those two weeks like in a hotel. It is perfect for our needs! July 9, 2014
