For increased filtering performance, simply flip a switch to turn on the ionizing function. The built-in ionizer releases negatively-charged ions into outgoing air that has already been filtered. The ions then attach themselves to tiny particles in the air that carry a positive charge -- like dust, pollen, and smoke -- to help capture them more easily. The dual position design allows you to use the air purifier in more places, while the two (2) different operating speeds are designed for continuous usage or in quieter settings.
