Metrokane L-Press Manual Citrus Juicer

The Metrokane L-Press Manual Citrus Juicer (model: 1030) is a newly designed hand press juicer, which provides easier use by having a curved body of hardened steel and then reinforced with die-cast aluminum. The 'clever' name stems from the L-Shaped profile of the unit. The lever handle turns in a 500-Degree arc and creates thousands of pounds of leverage! It comes with a great 25-ounce stainless pouring pitcher for added convenience. The powder-coated steel makes the unit attractive to leave out on the counter, and the powerful rack and pinion gear system allow you to easily apply hundreds of pounds of pressure without much effort. An all around great buy!

Extremely disappointed I had high hopes for this very attractive little juicer, but was very disappointed. While it looks very nice and is very sturdy, it does not juice fruit very well. It leaves a good deal of the fruit unjuiced. It didn't matter whether it was an orange, a lemon or a lime, it did not adequately juice any one of these fruit. It was not inexpensive, so I am sorry that I bought it. November 15, 2010
