Above the grill is a removable porcelain enamel lid that traps in all the smoke for oven like heat retention, and to help infuse a smoky barbeque flavor. Built in air vents are standard on this lid, and a cool to the touch handle is mounted on the top for easy access and easy grip. The convenience of a lid hanger is also standard with this grill, so you can hang up the lid to keep it clean and out of the way when you are not using it.

Napoleon also built in a temperature gauge into the face of the lid so that you can have cook with precisely the right temperature for each meal. Underneath this grill is a large capacity heavy steel removable ash catcher for simple and easy cleanup. Directly above this catcher are air vents that give you the ability to adjust the amount of air hitting the charcoal for increased temperature control. Both versions of this grill sit on top of weather proof casters making transportation extremely easy, and on the cart version the wheels are lockable to give you confidence your grill wont move while you are using it.
