Your Port-A-Cool Evaporative Air Cooler is a lifesaver from the intense heat of summer, so protect your unit from the harsh corrosion of hard-water with the Mineral Treatment Kit (MK-47-CS). Hard water is water that has a high mineral content and this usually consists of calcium, magnesium ions, and possibly other dissolved compounds. In addition, hard water leaves deposits within an evaporative cooler's tank and water lines over time, and can form corrosion on moving parts.
If you want to extend the life of your air cooler and protect it against corrosion, regularly adding the MK-47-CS water treatment solution to the reservoir of your Port-A-Cool unit can make all the difference!
