The PowerStar AE115 electric tankless water heater is designed to replace an electric storage tank heater. Advantages include endless hot water, reduced electricity costs and substantial space savings. This tankless water heater is meant for a single application (One shower, dishwasher, washer, etc.). Electric tankless water heaters can be a good option when you don't have the ability to vent a gas model and/or if you live in an area with warem water temperatures.

Please note that the PowerStar AE115 requires 240/220 Volts and draws 80 Amps (2 x 40 Amp Breakers) when providing hot water. It has a 95% efficiency rating and provides 2.3 gallons per minute for water usage at 105ºF. It can provide 2.0 gallons per minute for water usage at 115ºF. This unit is not recommended where the average ground temp is less than 60F.
