The convenient cord storage allows you to store the 8 foot electrical cord in the base so your iron can be carried away with nothing being in your way. The built-in dual safety and fill cap allow you to easily refill the 5 cup stainless steel tank and also keeps the tank from spilling over with water when being carried. The low water indicator lets you know when its time to refill, while the removable iron rest allows you to set your iron on the board without burning anything.
