Avanti 1.7 Cu. Ft. AC/DC Superconductor Refrigerat This is an unbelievable appliance and is a backup to my RV refrigerator. The 12 volt feature is very important to me as my RV refrigerator uses propane or AC. Since there is no compressor, it is completely quiet and there is no defrosting. It has plenty of room for me, as a single person, and I will buy a 12 volt freezer to accompany this refrigerator. January 4, 2012
very useful This little refrigerator is a wonder. it's small and light enough to be easily portable and functioned well on our camping trip to the coast. It's slightly flimsy in construction, but this also contributes to its portability. We plugged it into the DC current in the car for the drive and then into the campground's AC current while there. It's quiet enough to sleep right next to and still hear the waves and birdsongs in the morning. A good solid value and currently doing double duty as a beverage cooler in my studio. July 17, 2011
Small Avanti frig We have not used the frig yet. We will be using it in or motorhome on trips this summer. I did put a thermometer in it and the temp got down to 38 degrees. One suggestion is handles on the sides to pick up the unit would be nice. May 2, 2014
Economic Success I am a truck driver and I have gotten tired of on the road food and prices. I now can eat like I am at home. My wife prepares my meals and I heat and serve. This is a great little refrigerator, but you have to watch the settings. I lost my garden salad, I had the settings to high. It got too cold for the lettuce. March 22, 2014
