The Sunpentown Convection Oven with Wok Base (SO-2007) is one of the first convection ovens to incorporate a Nano-Carbon Fiber and FIR heating element, the newest in heating technology. It has the capability of reaching reaching 392°F in 10 minutes, reducing cooking time by up to 30%. The unit is reinforced by quartz glass for fast heat conduction and radiation, and emits FIR wavelengths of 3um to 20um.

Due to the (SO-2007)'s deep heat penetration and instant heating, food does not need to be defrosted prior to cooking.
