Samlex SAM Series Modified Sine Wave Inverters (SAM-XX-12) offer cost effective power from a highly efficient package. Models within this class range in power output from 250 to 3000 watts and use a 12 VDC input. These DC-AC inverters convert 12 VDC to 115 VAC at an output frequency of 60 Hz so they can connect through any 12V lighter socket in your car, boat, truck or RV. In fact, the SAM Series inverters come with a lighter socket plug as well as battery clamps so you can directly attach it to your battery. Useful features include: soft start and cool surface technology, a power save mode, a low battery input alarm, low interference technology and a convenient USB charging port.
