The Samlex Step-Up DC-DC Converter - 10.5-28 V to 24 V - 20-45 Amps (VTC605-12-24) allows you to efficiently step up the DC power output from a lower voltage DC power source. The VTC605-12-24 is a high power, high efficiency converter that has an ultra-quiet low EMI operation as well as shock and vibration tolerance. Mountable in virtually any desired location, the converter is housed in a tough marine grade aluminum case capable of withstanding threats posed by outside elements. As a non-isolated DC-DC converter, this unit is optimal for negative ground systems and can be used for a seemingly endless list of applications including RVs, marine vehicles, 12 volt lighting systems, AM/FM sound systems, solar and alternative power systems, and essentially any 12 or 24 volt power equipment.

With a complete protection package, this step-up DC-DC power converter features protection against reverse polarity and includes an over-voltage crowbar circuit and current limiting circuit.
