Scotsman has been on the cutting edge of ice innovation since 1950 when they introduced their crystal-clear, slow-melting ice and this machine is no exception. Capable of producing up to 65 lb. of ice in 24 hours, all your ice will be uniquely-shaped, crystal-clear, slow-melting, taste-free, odorless, and will not dilute the flavor of drinks.
User friendly, the control panel indicates power on, and has alerts for no-water condition and a time to clean reminder. The water-quality sensor is able to detect hard water conditions and mineral laden water is purged by the control system with every harvest cycle to help extend time between cleanings. Energy efficiency is priority, and Scotsman proves it with over 60 machines carrying the EPA ENERGY STAR® qualification. For easy maintenance the ice maker comes with a built-in pump to expel drain water and includes a 10’ drain tube.
