Keep comfortable with convenience with the Sunpentown 11,000 BTU Dual Hose Air Conditioner (WA-1150DESD). This amazing portable A.C. unit offers you many of the same conveniences that you would come to expect from a large built in, or window unit, but in a portable platform. Built in smooth rolling casters make transporting the A.C. convenient and easy as you pull it out of storage for the warm summer months, and push it back out of the way during the winter. Temperature on the A.C. is controlled with a digital thermostat which has a LCD display to show you exactly what the unit is set to cool to. Temperature, fan speed, and mode are controlled with a digital control panel, or via remote control for convenience at a distance.
Sunpentown focused on making this unit as user friendly as possible and designed it to create as little excess condensation that needs to be drained as possible. To achieve this they designed it as a self evaporating system that uses the condensation created in the cooling process to recool the cooling coils, making it extremely efficient. For any condensation that does build up Sunpentown offers the user two options for disposing of it, one is a built in water tank that is easy to pull off and empty, and the other is an extendable water hose that allows for continuous drainage. This A.C. has the ability to operate as an air conditioner, dehumidifier, or on fan only mode for use convenience and versatility. With an overall cooling area of around 300 sq. ft. this portable air conditioner is great for cooling an entire room and is perfect for the person looking to have all the convenience of a standard A.C. unit, but in a portable and cost effective platform.
