Super dryer This baby would suck the moisture out of a rock in Death Valley! However, when the tank is full is is both heavy and hard to remove to empty. I do not have a floor drain so have to empty daily. To get the tank out, because of the casters, you must pull it against a stopper to get the tank to slide out. Once out it is heavy, will not sit level and requires a few trys to figure out how to empty into a bucket without spilling water all over. Will not be easy for my senior citizen wife to empty. Also, the tank needs a kick to reset in its track after empty. That all being said, I am very happy with it! August 12, 2013
Sunpentown Dehumidifier Not a good purchase. The overflow switch/valve is difficult to find and set. The directions as how to slide the water container back into the body of the machine to set the overflow are minimal and inadequate. It has overflowed all over the rug 3 times and I don't have a clue as to whether I am resetting it properly or not. So I have resorted to making sure I run in and empty every 20 hours. I am babysitting the dehumidifier! Also the 65 pint water container is very heavy to lift if full, and splashes over the top when trying to lift it up to the sink to empty. The overall design is sleek and attractive and the dehumidifying condenser works well. I cannot recommend this purchase to anyone especially as it is overpriced. August 13, 2013
