Old reliable Our school has had this very model from way back - probably 15-20 years and we never had any trouble with it and it still runs fine today!!! So we needed another machine and I purchased the exact same one and expect it to last 15-20 years also............if not longer. This is money well spent. Of course the only drawback is the storage - it holds 12 pounds which isn't a lot of ice, but it works for all of our teams. October 5, 2014
Replacement ice maker for the bar I had a u-line that was almost 30 years old in our bar and it finally died. This one fit exactly in the space the old one came out if and is performing great! September 3, 2014
replacement ice maker I bought this ice maker on-line because it looked like the exact model I needed to replace. The process was easy enough and it was delivered as scheduled with no defects. My only troubles came due to reengineering of some design features that caused troubles. Why was it necessary to change the intake pipe dimensions from 3/8" to 1/4"? This caused trouble for me who hadn't dealt with cutting and soldering copper tubing. So, I changed to a new flexible hose connector which was perfect but the back metal of the whole unit only had a tiny hole for the tubing! What, no one else would ever try a flexible tubing to connect it? So I had to cut a hole in the back just to get the thing set up and working. It works fine and the ice is perfect. July 4, 2014
