Vicks One Gallon Warm Mist Humidifier

The Vicks V-745A Warm Mist Humidifier (model: V745A) was designed to be easy to fill and easy to clean. The tank feeds water in the boiling chamber where it is heated to a pure steam vapor. The vapor is bacteria-free and mixes with dry air in the dishwasher safe cooling chamber which is then circulated in the room. Features include 1.0 gallon capacity, operates at least 12 hours on a single filling, second handle and a translucent tank.

Great Value for Price Really makes a difference in dry heated winter air. I don't wake up with sinus pain any more. Easy to fill, easy to use, now I don't have to spend hundreds on a whole-house humidifier. A little noisy on the highest setting, but the low setting sends out plenty of steam. March 8, 2011

IS THIS UNIT A 2 GALLON OR AS STATED IN THE DESCRIPTION, 1 GALLON CAPACITY?? ALSO DOES IT TAKE MEDICATION AND IF SO DO YOU HANDLE THE MEDICATION ??

This unit has a 1-gallon capacity. It includes a medicine cup piece located above the cooling chamber where liquid medicine can be added if desired. Vicks recommends using either Kaz Inhalant or Vicks VapoSteam with this particular humidifier. When adding the medicine, simply fill the cup the majority of the way full. No measurement is needed, however, be careful not to overfill or spill any medicine into the cooling chamber.
