Offering powerful and fast microwave and convection cooking in a built-in application, the Smeg 24-Inch Built-In Speed Oven with 1000-Watt Microwave (SU45MCX1) brings together effective cooking methods in a high-quality Italian design. The oven boasts a spacious 1.2 cubic-foot Stainless Steel surrounded interior cavity and features a 1000-watt microwave as well as true European convection cooking, which can be used separately or simultaneously across 10 different cooking modes. The cooking modes provide maximum food preparation versatility and include intensive broil, convection with intensive broil, pizza function, microwave, microwave and Circulaire, microwave and broil element, defrost by time, defrost by weight, European convection, and European convection with broil.
The oven front features a beautiful fingerprint-proof Stainless Steel finish as well as a professional-style Stainless Steel bar handle. The ergonomic control knobs are mounted on each side of the digital LED display that shows all settings including the temperature which can range from 122F - 428F. The automatic switch-off system activates when the door is opened, and there's also a child safety control lock to prevent accidental operation. Other convenience features include an interior 20-watt halogen light that automatically illuminates whenever you open the door, and an acoustic alarm that sounds when the cooking time ends. Inside you'll find a large 12 5/8 diameter glass turntable, and the oven also comes with three (3) metal racks, one (1) large grid, one (1) glass tray, and one (1) special crisp plate.
