Portable Air Coolers & Fans Help Reduce Heat and Circulate the Air

Portable air coolers can be an energy saving alternative to central air conditioning. Sometimes called swamp coolers, or evaporative coolers, air coolers are meant for those who live in areas with a relative humidity level below 50%. We offer both residential and commercial models of air coolers.

Our selection of air circulators and fans come in various sizes for use in your home, both decorative and strictly functional, for many different sized rooms. For when you need something heavy duty, we offer commercial fans and air movers for use in restoration work and large spaces. No matter what your specific needs are, our selection has you covered

The Difference Between Air Coolers & Air Circulators

Air coolers, also known as a swamp or evaporative cooler, essentially blows air over a wick filled with water. This produces air that is cooler than the surrounding air around it. An air circulator, on the other hand, is designed to help move air around. Not to be confused with a fan, circulators can help balance uneven temperatures within the room. For example, a room tends to have cooler areas closer to the floor and warmer areas higher up.

Make the Most Out of Your Portable AC Unit

Air coolers are primarily used to spot cool an area. Portable AC units work great at cooling the room as a whole, but for some areas that tend to be a bit warmer, such as an area bathed in sunlight, an air cooler may be the perfect complement to your portable air conditioner. Not only will it help keep you cool, but it is energy efficient and will save you money in the long run.
